ABOUT DR. WILLIAMS
Dr. Heidi Williams is a board-certified Plastic Surgeon. She specializes in breast surgery, aesthetic surgery of the face and body, and skin and burn care/reconstruction. Dr. Williams is boarded by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) and is a member of the Charleston County Medical Society (CCMS), the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), and the Medical Society of South Carolina (MSSC).

Born and raised in the Philadelphia area, Dr. Williams graduated from Dartmouth College in 1991 and attended medical school at George Washington University School of Medicine. During that time, she became interested in surgery, in particular, plastic surgery. She returned to Philadelphia for her General Surgery Residency at the Graduate Hospital in affiliation with the University of Pennsylvania.
From there, she went to New York, where she completed a Burn and Reconstructive Fellowship at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. Following this fellowship, she entered a Plastic Surgery Residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden, New Jersey.

Dr. Williams moved to Charleston in August 2002, after completing her plastic surgery residency. She has been in private practice since that time. In 2009, Dr. Williams founded the Mount Pleasant Medispa, to work alongside her existing practice to provide the latest advances in skin care therapies, while continuing to offer the highest level of surgical care.
Dr. Williams and her excellent team of trained registered nurses and aestheticians are committed to providing the highest quality of care while maintaining the personal attention, friendliness, and professionalism that have come to define them.​
ABOUT KELLY GAMBINO
Kelly Gambino is a nurse practitioner who joined the practice and the Mount Pleasant Medispa in March of 2022. Like Dr. Williams, Ms. Gambino comes to us by way of the Philadelphia area, and like Dr. Williams, underwent a position of her education and training at the University of Pennsylvania of Philadelphia. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a masters of science in nursing and her nurse practitioner degree, as well as a post-masters certificate in training.
Ms. Gambino and Dr. Williams met one another while she was working in the operating room at Roper and realized that they not only shared common bonds with their ties to Philadelphia but they have also had loved ones succumb to ALS. But most importantly, they share a love of plastic surgery and are deeply committed to patient care.
Ms. Gambino had spent much of her career in the realm of hand surgery while in PA and NJ. Hand surgery falls under the scope of plastic surgery, but upon moving to Charleston, shifted her focus to more of the cosmetic procedures under the plastic surgery umbrella.
Dr. Williams and Ms. Gambino make a great team addressing all the plastic surgery needs of their practices, both cosmetic and reconstructive, and she has particular expertise with laser skin services and Botox and fillers.
